Ive been following this debate with great interest. I thought I would use this opportunity to make a few points of my own.
1. This Elmasry fellow is clearly a lunatic. However just becuase some newspaper claims his group is the best, largest,blah blah blah doesnt make it so. I need some proof and I have looked around the net and only see him and some woman EVER quoted. That does not a "largest" group make.
2. Joan, I agree the Liberals (I wont even talk about the NDP) have been no great shakes but suggesting that somehow Elmasry and the Liberals are connected is over-the-top...and this from a card carrying Tory of over 35 years. Yes the people you mention are all Liberals and rather off the wall with the exception of Graham. But if you think you can convince people that they are like Elmasry think again. You will be seen as hysterical.
3. The Liberals do have to be confronted, carefully, wisely, with facts not accusations...with solid argumentation not silly innuendo.
Those are my few thouths for what they may be worth. This is a great site. Let's make it credible by putting forward good arguments. Good luck to all of us we have much work to do.
