When I googled the 22 Arab states of the Arab League that you (Meir) referred to, one of them was listed as "Palestine". I agree that it is not a state. However when you referred to all 22 states you must have included Palestine as a state as it was listed as a current one, even if that was not your intention. Your including it certainly surprised me.

On the other question that was raised, races are people with similar physical characteristics, although it is not clearly defined. The idea of what constitutes a "people" is also not clearly defined. Jews are obviously not a race as there are Black, Brown, Chinese, Japanese, and of course White and Semitic Jews. This is not so for Arabs. I believe however that there are similarities of religion and culture which make Jews a "people".
