Militants torch girls' school
MINGORA: Militants set ablaze a portion of a girls' school at Char Bagh late on Saturday night. Over 100 militants entered the Girls High School in Char Bagh after midnight on Saturday and proceeded to tie up school watchman Tooti, and set a portion of the school on fire. No casualties were reported. The militants also planted three powerful bombs inside the school building before leaving the institution. The authorities, however, defused the bombs. Security forces imposed a curfew in Char Bagh tehsil and arrested several people. staff report
