To the Honourable Peter MacKay:
Congratulations for refusing to contribute to a Palestinian regime of
terror. In the same way that the Europeans capitulated to Hitler and the
Nazis in the twenties and thirties, they are demonstrating weakness in face
of Islamic aggression today. And they seem to be paying a price for it.
Let us hope that leaders like yourself and other Canadians can set an
example for Europeans in dealing with thugs.
One thing we must do is to encourage genuinely moderate Moslems in Canada to
speak up and show that they are not afraid. For example, why has no
prominent Canadian Moslem condemned the insane postion of the Afghanistan
government in threatening to kill a man because he chose to leave Islam for
a different religion. Canadian Moslems must demonstrate their revulsion to
this grotesque barbarism.
Again, congratulations for showing courage and best wishes to you and your
new government.
